2 thoughts on “Poll: Weight Status After Gallbladder Surgery”
Update:
Had my gall bladder removed in May 2011. I dropped to 150 pounds down from about 160 pounds. Height is 178cm or 5ft 10.
I was dead skinny and wanted to put on weight.
I started heavy weight training and drinking protein drinks and eating loads in March 2012. By July 2012 I was 168 pounds!
I now weigh 172 pounds which is a record for me. I look totally different.
I do feel a bit sick after drinking a protein (whey protein mixed with water) after a gym session but am good apart from that.
Conclusion for the skinny guy (with no gall bladder) who wants to put on weight – assuming you can eat most things: just eat loads, take protein drinks/weight gainer mixed with milk and lift heavy weights about 5 times a week.
When can I resume eeicrxse after my gall bladder removal surgery?I had a laproscopy surgery (gall bladder removal) done on the 4th July and I am dying to get back on the tracks to start my path to a healthy get-fit lifestyle. However, within the month of recovery I get occasional internal pains which have been subsiding as the days passed. I also suffer from gastritis inflammation which I am on Omeprezole for the next few months to kill the bacteria. Some friends advised that I shouldn’t be exercising as my body is kinda stressed up inside and needs alot of rest. When can I start on my cardio (jogging, stair climbing, etc ) eeicrxses again?I had a laproscopy surgery (gall bladder removal) done on the 4th July and I am dying to get back on the tracks to start my path to a healthy get-fit lifestyle. I absent-mindedly forgot to ask him when I can resume eeicrxses again.I won’t see him again on my next follow-up which is a month later.
